01 July 2026 : ATSA Online Poomsae Competition (Peringkat Kebangsaan)– Result Announcement

The official results for the ATSA Online Poomsae Competition will be announced on 1st July 2026. Stay tuned for the updates!

This competition is an exciting opportunity for students to gain exposure, build confidence, and experience the thrill of competition in a supportive and structured environment.
The program is designed to guide participants through a smooth journey from training to performance. Students will be taken step-by-step through the competition process, helping them understand the requirements while continuously improving their skills, discipline, and focus.
In addition, this competition also serves as a valuable platform for students to earn PAJSK points (Peringkat Kebangsaan) with full support for school recognition.
This is an online submission-based competition that leads towards future on-ground competitive opportunities, where participants will have the chance to compete against some of the best Poomsae athletes. It is designed to test Taekwondo performance standards and prepare students for upcoming in-house on-ground competitions later this year.

July 2026 : World Taekwondo Hanmadang 2026
Oversea : Korea
The 2026 World Taekwondo Hanmadang is scheduled for August 1st–5th, 2026, at the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) in Seoul, South Korea. This premier international festival features non-sparring disciplines like Poomsae, breaking, and self-defense, highlighting Taekwondo culture.
This event is open to all ATSA black belt students who wish to challenge their limits and gain experience on an international platform.
Registration can be made at the counter once it opens. Please note that this event involves air travel and accommodation arrangements, as participants will need to travel.
All expenses, including flight tickets, accommodation, and related costs, will be self-funded.

July 2026 : Mid Year Exam
Double class students
As we have shared earlier, this special mid-year exam is exclusively offered to students who are enrolled in more than two classes per week. The reason behind this policy is to ensure that participating students receive sufficient training time and meet the readiness level required for this assessment.
This additional exam session is designed to provide a platform for students who are demonstrating exceptional growth and commitment, and who have been undergoing intensive training through advanced class/ online class/ elite class / extra class schedules.

July 2026 : Selection for Putatan Taekwondo Competition
Putatan Kota Kinabalu
ATSA will be participating in an upcoming Local Taekwondo Competition, held within the Putatan Kota Kinabalu at 25-27th September 2026.
This event is open only to Advanced Class students. All selection and preparation training will take place during the Advanced Class sessions start July 2026.
Training will on start August 2026 and inform selected students for registration at least one months in advance to allow ample time for preparation.
🏆 Winners from this competition will have the opportunity to advance to the National Level, representing ATSA with pride and excellence.

May 2027 : The World Masters Games 2027
Oversea : Kansai Japan
The World Masters Games is a major international multi-sport event held every four years. The upcoming World Masters Games 2027 Kansai, Japan will take place from 14 May to 30 May 2027, featuring 59 disciplines across 35 sports for athletes aged 30 and above. The opening ceremony will be held in Kyoto on 14 May 2027, while the closing ceremony will take place in Osaka on 30 May 2027.

In celebration of the festive season, we would like to inform you that ATSA Taekwondo will be closed on the 31st August 2026 (Mon) for hari Merdeka Day
Kindly note that despite the closure, the August monday class schedule will still fulfill the required four classes for the month. Therefore, no replacement classes will be arranged on these dates. We wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
