01.8.2026 : World Taekwondo Hanmadang 2026
Oversea : Korea
The 2026 World Taekwondo Hanmadang is scheduled for August 1st–5th, 2026, at the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) in Seoul, South Korea. This premier international festival features non-sparring disciplines like Poomsae, breaking, and self-defense, highlighting Taekwondo culture.
This event is open to all ATSA black belt students who wish to challenge their limits and gain experience on an international platform.
Registration can be made at the counter once it opens. Please note that this event involves air travel and accommodation arrangements, as participants will need to travel.
All expenses, including flight tickets, accommodation, and related costs, will be self-funded.

09.8.2026 : Mid Year Exam
Double class students
As we have shared earlier, this special mid-year exam is exclusively offered to students who are enrolled in more than two classes per week. The reason behind this policy is to ensure that participating students receive sufficient training time and meet the readiness level required for this assessment.
This additional exam session is designed to provide a platform for students who are demonstrating exceptional growth and commitment, and who have been undergoing intensive training through advanced class/ online class/ elite class / extra class schedules.

31.8.2026 : Registration Closed for Putatan Taekwondo Competition
Putatan Kota Kinabalu
ATSA will be participating in an upcoming Local Taekwondo Competition, held within the Putatan Kota Kinabalu at 25-27th September 2026.
This competition is open exclusively to ATSA Advanced Class students. Student selection and preparation will begin during the Advanced Class sessions from July 2026, with focused competition training starting in August 2026. Selected students will be informed at least one month before the competition to allow sufficient time for preparation and registration. Registration comfirmation close on 31 August 2026, after which ATSA will proceed with the final competition arrangements and continued preparation leading up to the event.
🏆 Winners from this competition will have the opportunity to advance to the National Level, representing ATSA with pride and excellence.

September 2026 : Belt Grading Result & Presentation Ceremony

Heartfelt congratulations to all students who participated in the Upgrading Examination on 09 August 2026!
We are pleased to announce that the official Belt Grading Result & Presentation Ceremony (Penyampaian) will begin during regular classes from 14 September 2026 onwards. During the presentation, students will receive their official examination result in hard copy and, for students who have fulfilled the required passing criteria, their belt promotion will be presented accordingly. Please note that not all students will necessarily receive a promotion, as the result is based on the required skills and examination criteria. For students who do not meet the passing requirements, Teacher will meet and provide further guidance regarding their development and the next appropriate step.We appreciate all parents and students for your patience and understanding while we complete the examination process. We look forward to celebrating each student's progress and achievements together.

This is not just a performance night—it is a full-day ATSA event filled with rehearsals, performances, Poomsae competition, backstage activities and unforgettable moments for our students. To make everything run smoothly, we are looking for 20 dedicated AJK volunteers to join our event team!

No previous event experience is required. We will assign everyone a suitable role and provide the necessary instructions before the event.

May 2027 : The World Masters Games 2027
Oversea : Kansai Japan
The World Masters Games is a major international multi-sport event held every four years. The upcoming World Masters Games 2027 Kansai, Japan will take place from 14 May to 30 May 2027, featuring 59 disciplines across 35 sports for athletes aged 30 and above. The opening ceremony will be held in Kyoto on 14 May 2027, while the closing ceremony will take place in Osaka on 30 May 2027.
This event is open to all ATSA black belt students who wish to challenge their limits and gain experience on an international platform.
